Jigs sized to your blanks
Enter the blank, pick your UV printer or laser, and get the most pockets that fit the bed: a cut-ready SVG, a 3D-printable plate and an artwork template that lines up with it.
35 pockets, 7 rows of 5, on a 330 mm × 420 mm plate.

Cut it
Red = cut, blue = engrave. Millimetre units.
Print it
Plate with pocket recesses. Millimetres.
Line up the artwork
Template with pocket centres, blank edge, bleed and safe area, placed where the jig sits on the machine.
From blank to batch in three files
-
Measure one blank
Use a preset or your calipers. Width, height, thickness and corner radius are all the generator needs, or upload the blank's SVG outline.
-
Make the jig
Cut the SVG on a laser in 3 mm acrylic or MDF, or print the 3MF. Cut the test-fit coupon first if you have not used this blank before.
-
Print or engrave the batch
Lock the template as a guide layer, drop artwork into each outline, and run every pocket in one job. Pocket 1 is always in the same corner.

Frequently asked questions
What is a jig for a UV printer or laser engraver?
A jig is a plate with pockets cut to the shape of your blank. It holds every keychain, coaster or tag in the same spot and at the same height, so one artwork file lines up with every piece in a batch.
How much clearance should a jig pocket have?
Start at about 0.2 mm per side for laser-cut acrylic or MDF and 0.3 mm per side for a 3D-printed jig, and 0.5 mm or more for natural slate or tile. Cut the test-fit coupon first to find the exact value for your machine and blanks.
Which file should I download for my machine?
Laser cutters (Glowforge, xTool, LightBurn) take the SVG: red lines are cuts, blue lines are engraving. Use the DXF if your software imports SVG at the wrong size. For a 3D-printed jig use the 3MF (Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer, Orca) or the STL.
How do I line up artwork with the jig?
Download the alignment template. It is drawn at true size in the work area, with the pocket centres, blank edges, bleed and safe area, so you can lock it as a guide layer in your printer or laser software and drop artwork into each outline. The CSV gives every pocket centre in millimetres for variable-data jobs.
My UV printer bed is bigger than my 3D printer. Can I still print the jig?
Yes. Pick your 3D printer under Jig build and the 3MF or STL is split into tiles along the webs between pockets, so no pocket is cut in half. Tape or glue the tiles to a flat backing and push them into the same corner each time.
Does Pocketplate work with the xTool F2 Ultra UV?
Yes. The xTool F2 Ultra UV is a UV galvo laser with a 200 × 200 mm field, so its preset uses a centred origin: line up the centre ticks engraved on the plate edges with the framing crosshair.
Is it free, and where are my designs stored?
Everything is free during the beta. All files are made in your browser; your blanks and settings are saved only in this browser, with a JSON backup you can download.
